‘Twas a few days before Christmas
and all through the town
businesses were closing, production shut down.
Lights twinkled on houses
And the vehicles of field teams alike,
Brightening the night with reps’ delight.
In the chilly December breeze, their CRM software put them at ease.
After baking cookies for Santa to eat,
They hummed carols of company culture to sing them to sleep.
They got a good night’s rest, tucked into bed,
As sweet dreams of building customer relationships danced in their head.
Even during the holidays, the teams didn’t stop,
With their work, they did everything to stay on top.
Despite distractions rising high,
they managed their time like a slice of pumpkin pie.
Client visits filled their calendars, leaving little time to spare
The books were marked with meticulous care.
Trips were abundant, from site to site,
their territory management plan,
helped them take flight!
Tracking and tagging
Worked like good ol’ St. Nick.
Time stamping and recording
Performed like elves hand picked.
The field teams decked the halls with merchandise and more
Food, beverages, cosmetics – products galore!
They offered their services, extending their hand
Their jolliness filling the service land.
Managing isn’t easy,
Especially when the holidays come about.
Scheduling is a challenge causing supervisors to pout.
With availability overlapping, what is there to do?
Everyone knows that there must be a great tool!
Time management and productivity
Were as polished as Rudolph’s red nose,
Squeezing in as much activity
Before December came to a close.
So what happened that year
When old Kris Cringle,
Lost his balance
And slipped on a shingle?
Santa Claus was on the roof – a practice run for the big night –
When he fell near the chimney, knocked the shingle out of sight.
His bags were filled with packaged goods, tied together with such care,
but upon his fall, they were no longer there.
In a panic, he didn’t know what to do.
He first called his service team for repairs - his roofer too.
He went to the store down main street
to find the shelves stocked and displays glittering with Christmas cheer.
The marketing of products dazzled the plump man,
until his eyes filled with tears.
Despite the madness, of the Christmas season
The field teams showed up when they heard Santa’s reason.
Their androids and i-phones helped them call, when the realized what they saw.
The tech beeped and buzzed in effortless communication
Living up to the reps’ good reputation.
The field teams are prepared from anything to a sale
Or an emergency on Santa’s sleigh
Their cleverness and resourcefulness
Helping them in any which way.
They tied new packages with bows
Just like they tie up sales
To help Santa relax,
They Brewed him specialty holiday ales.
In a snap,
Santa’s ankle was wrapped
In the meantime, the sleigh again packed.
The crisis was averted before the big night
The worry for the Christmas crew now out of sight.
Santa took off, waving good –bye,
What a sentimental guy,
Thankful for the field teams rescue
As the reindeer climbed into the sky.
When Christmas morning came
The field reps found a note
That Santa himself wrote.
To them he said,
The most honest thing that came to his head:
When you have a great field team
There is nothing you can’t achieve
Of the many possibilities your mind perceives.
