This week, we looked into the average number of activities taken per visit across five different industry categories: consumer packaged goods in food & beverage, consumer goods outside of food such as apparel and electronics, field service, medical and pharma, and other industries like field sales & marketing and property management.
The number of activities was calculated from field work completed by reps including filling out forms, orders, client notes, audits, and photos. Findings indicate that consumer goods in the food and beverage industry had the highest number of activities taken per visit with an average of 3.3 activities per visit.
In last place was organizations in the medical & pharma industry with an average of 1 activity per visit.
